Cracking pub. No tv, no music, just good chat and impossibly uncomfortable seats. Scorpy barmen and a fine pint. Far away the pub in Dublin that has eschewed the last 50 years of progress with the most style. That said, lounge area is shite.

Out of the way pub. Great place to pass the time in quiet conversation and fine pints. It would be impossible to recreate this atmosphere. While you're there say hello to Ireland's heros buried next door.

This famous old bar which dates from 1833 provides probably the best pint on the Northside, while the newly refurbished lounge offers a superb, inexpensive lunch menu. Not to be missed!
