Salubrious lighting! Roaring fire in winter!! Sofas!!! The bar attached to the Hibernian hotel is a winner all round. No sound system installed and guess what - not even a tiny TV in sight. Magic. Slightly older crowd, but the pints are good, the prices are OK and the conversation is always flowing (and audible!)
